Eligibility Criteria for KVS Recruitment 2017- PGT, TGT & Other Posts
For PGT: Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject.
For TGT: Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
For PRT: Passed Senior Secondary School Certificate/+2/inter with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent with JBT AND Pass in in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose with Competence to teach through Hindi & English media.
For Vocational Expert Instructor: Candidates should possess B.EE/B. Teach (Computer Sc.)/BCA/MCA/M.Sc.(Computer Sc.)/M.Sc (Electronics with Computer Sc. Component) / M.Sc. (IT)/B.Sc. (Computer Sc.) from recognized university/institute.
For Nurse: Diploma in nursing/Diploma in General Nursing & Midwife Course/B.Sc. Nursing with 1 year experience.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Interview.

Eligible Criteria for KVS Recruitment 2016:-
* Principal : The eligible and interested candidate’s qualification should be Master’s Degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks with B.ED or equivalent teaching degree and persons working in any of the Govt/ Semi Govt/ Govt. Recognised/ CBSE affiliated Sr. Secondary (10+2) school/ inter college.
** Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) : Two year integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate OR Master’s Degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject and B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from a recognised university for all the above PGT posts except information & Technology.
*** Trained Graduate Teacher (TGTs) : Candidate’s qualification should be four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50 marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate. OR A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognised University with 50% marks or above in aggregate as well as in the concerned subject and B.Ed. or equivalent from a recognised University and Should pass Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE.
**** Primary Teacher (PRT) : Candidate’s qualification should be intermediate with 50% marks and passed in CTET OR two years Diploma in Education (D.ED) or Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.).
Age Limit – Candidate’s age should be 35 to 50 years for Principal, 40 years for Post Graduate Teachers, 35 years for Trained Graduate Teachers and 30 years for Primary Teacher (PRT). And age relaxation have applicable of 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 10 years for Women (All Category) except for the post of principals and 10 years for Persons with disabilities (including women).
Selection Process : Candidates selection will be depending in written examination and interview.
Application Fee : Candidate’s have to pay fee Rs.1200/- for Principal and Rs.750/- for all others posts through the prescribed link at online application or challan. Fees has exempted for SC/ST/PH categories and women candidates.
